Dr. Anna Jack-Waugh

Dr Anna Jack-Waugh is a Senior Lecturer in dementia at Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). After a twenty-year clinical career of leading dementia care as a mental health nurse, she moved to academia in 2004. Current work includes the MSc Gerontology with Dementia Care at UWS, Scotland's National Dementia Champions and international projects on the dissemination of dementia education to health and social care workforces. Anna’s focus is on developing effective interprofessional education for all health and social care staff working with people with dementia in hospital and community settings.
