Dr. Wendy Duggleby

Wendy received her BSN from the University of Saskatchewan, her MN from the University of Alberta and a PhD from the University of Texas Houston Health Sciences Center. Wendy leads several multidisciplinary international research teams and has developed and evaluated several interventions to foster hope and quality of life in older adults and their family caregivers with national and provincial funding support. This research has received multiple awards for excellence.  For example, Dr. Duggleby has been awarded the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology Excellence in Research Award, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for the impact of her research on the health of Canadians and the University of Texas-Houston Health Sciences Center School of Nursing Distinguished Alumni Award.
